DGS erfolgreich auf der Intersolar Europe
Auf der wichtigsten Fachmesse der Branche, der Intersolar Europe in München hat sich die DGS vorige Woche mit ihrem Informations- und Dienstleistungsangebot präsentiert.
Im Bereich der Neuheitenbörse wurden am letzten Tag der Messe neue Geschäftsmodelle für PV, Betreiberkonzepte, technische Rahmenbedingungen der PV sowie „Aktuelle Trends der Solarthermie“ vorgestellt. Mit knapp 200 Zuhörern war die Veranstaltung im Messebereich gut besucht. DGS-Mitglieder bekommen die Vortragsfolien auf Anfrage als pdf zugesandt.
Am DGS-Messestand wurden die Zeitschrift SONNENENERGIE, die aktuellen Planungsleitfäden (deutsch und fremdsprachlich) sowie das Weiterbildungsangebot (Landesverbände Berlin und Franken) vorgestellt. Direktes Engagement konnte bei der Unterschriftenaktion zu „Die Wende – Energie in Bürgerhand“ geleistet werden. Vom Landesverband Berlin-Brandenburg wurde ein Seminar zum Thema „Wärmemarkt im Kontext mit EE-Strom“ umgesetzt, der Landesverband Franken informierte über die Betreiberkonzepte und die verschiendenen Arten der PV-Vertragsgestaltung (Näheres hier).
Die DGS konnte auch in diesem Jahr auf der Messe zahlreiche Fragen von Anlagenbetreibern und Interessenten direkt am Stand beantworten. Zahlreiche Gespräche und Kontakte haben den Messeauftritt der DGS, die auch in diesem Jahr wieder Träger der Intersolar war, erfolgreich werden lassen.

Jürgen Trittin auf der Intersolar Europe 2013
Auf dem diesjährigen Pressrundgang der Intersolar Europe 2013 in München diskutierte der Fraktionsvorsitzende von Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, Jürgen Trittin, mit der Solarbranche die Energiewende. Nach der von Ihm, an der Seite des Britischen Energie – und Klimaministers Greg Barker und des Bundesstaatssekretärs des BUM Jürgen Becker (CDU), sowie dem Präsidenten des BSW-Solar Günther Häckl durchgeführten Eröffnung der Intersolar Europe 2013, startete die Runde zum Messerundgang zu den Ständen der Aussteller SolarWorld AG, Solarwatt GmbH, Schletter GmbH, SMA Technology AG und Gildemeister AG. Trittin zeigte sich im Branchendialog besonnen, mit gezielten Fragen und Interesse an Erfahrungen, Meinungen und Wünschen der Aussteller.
Die Anbieter zeigen Speicher- und Systemlösungen für die Steigerung des Eigenverbrauch solarer Energie. Systemlösungen mit Speichertechnologie sind kommerziell möglich, das zeigen die Aussteller. Trittin befürwortet den höheren Selbstverbrauchs solar erzeugter Energie, will aber gleichzeitig „das gemeinsame Problem“ lösen, dass die Netzinfrastruktur, die ja als Backup dient anders finanziert werden muss „wenn das alle machen“. Deshalb fragt er nach Meinungen, wie das am besten gelingen kann.
Auch Branchenvertreter plädieren für neue Geschäfts- und Finanzierungsmodelle von Netzbetreibern. „Damit muss die Energiewende zu Ende gedacht werden“ fordert SMA. Trittin plädiert auch für eine effizientere Organisation innerhalb der Erneuerbaren. SolarWorld und Solarwatt zeigen ihre smarten Systemlösungen, mit denen solare Energie im Hauskontext erzeugt, gespeichert und intelligent gesteuert werden kann. SMA zeigt den Wechselrichter mit integrierter Batterie, die Gildemeister AG präsentiert, dass sich der Eigenverbrauch solar erzeugter Energie auch bereits für die Industrie trägt. Deren Energy-Experte Maurice Eschweiler sagt dazu: „Wir gehen nicht an die Privatkunden. Wir setzten in unserem Geschäftsmodell zunehmend auf den Eigenverbrauch auch von Industrieunternehmen Da wir alle wissen, dass die steigenden Energiepreise kommen, unterstützen wir unsere Industriekunden sich unabhängig zu machen, von steigenden Energiepreisen indem diese Energie selber erzeugen, speichern und verbrauchen. Das ist unser Geschäftsmodell“. 15 -16 Cent/Kwh sollen in Deutschland bereits erreichbar sein.
Die Hersteller befürworten das Batteriespeicherprogramm der Bundesregierung, Gildemeister weist darauf hin, das da ja primär für den häuslichen Gebrauch gedacht ist. Wenn für deren Kunden Mehrwerte entstehen, würden sie das auch industriell nutzen, allerdings will sich Gildemeister unabhängig von Förderprogrammen machen. Zum Anti-Dumping-Verfahren vertreten die Aussteller unterschiedliche Positionen. Während sich SolarWorld Konzernsprecher Nitzschke dafür ausspricht, sehen andere Firmenvertreter darin keine Vorteile für die deutsche Wirtschaft. Hans Ulrich Schletter von der Schletter GmbH bringt es auf den Punkt: „Wir halten es nicht für sinnvoll. Es gibt den schönen Vergleich, eine PV-Anlage in Deutschland gekauft, sogar mit chinesischen Modulen, hat immer noch mehr deutsche Wertschöpfung, als der VW Golf“. Der BSW-Solar nimmt eine neutrale Position dazu ein.

1. Deutsche PV-Sicherheitstagung vom 19. bis 20.09. in Berlin
Vom 19.-20. September 2013 findet in Berlin die erste deutsche Photovoltaik - Sicherheitstagung: „Sicherheits- und Schutzkonzepte für PV-Anlagen in Bau und Betrieb“ statt. Veranstalter ist das Haus der Technik e.V. in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Landesverband Berlin-Brandenburg der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Sonnenenergie e.V..
Landesweit haben wir unzählige Solaranlagen, die fast 6% der deutschen Stromversorgung decken. Wie steht es um die Sicherheit beim Bau und Betrieb der Anlagen? Es häufen sich Schadensfälle sowie Arbeitsunfälle. Installateure und Betreiber sind sich der Risiken häufig nicht bewusst. Die langjährige Betriebsdauer erfordert neben der guten Planung und Installation qualitativ hochwertige langzeitbeständige Komponenten um die Betriebssicherheit zu gewährleisten. Mit der Tagung wird nach dem Motto „Vorbeugen statt aus Schaden klug werden“ der Fokus der Solarbranche und aller Unternehmen, die sich mit Energieerzeugung durch alternative Energien, insbesondere Photovoltaik, beschäftigen, auf die Sicherheitsaspekte bei Photovoltaikanlagen gerichtet. Hochkarätige Referenten aus der Photovoltaikpraxis, Energiepolitik und Forschung gestalten zwei Tage ein hochaktuelles interessantes Programm. Neben regulatorischen Anforderungen sowie angepassten Sicherheitslösungen von Solarsystemanbietern und -herstellern werden viele weitere sicherheitsrelevante Aspekte während dieser Tagung behandelt. Dabei wird auch auf typische Installations- und Montagefehler sowie Bau- und Sicherheitsmängel bei Solaranlagen eingegangen.
Die Bundesregierung fördert mit dem KfW-Förderprogramm „Erneuerbare Energien - Speicher“ die Finanzierung von Speichersystemen, insbesondere stationären Batteriespeichersystemen in Verbindung mit Photovoltaikanlagen. So werden auch bei diesen Energiespeichersystemen hohe Anforderungen an deren technische Sicherheit gestellt. Dieses Thema wird in Vorträgen u.a. zu Prüfanforderungen und Testprozeduren für Batteriespeichersysteme sowie zum Speicherpass in der Tagung ausführlich erörtert und diskutiert.
Die Tagungsteilnehmer werden über den aktuellen Stand der Regeln der Technik bei Bau, Montage und Installation von Photovoltaikanlagen informiert. Darüber hinaus werden typische Fehler beim Anlagenbau und Lücken bei der Sicherheit von Solaranlagen erläutert. Auch sollen zukünftige Anforderungen frühzeitig diskutiert werden, um Lösungen zu finden und damit die Akzeptanz der Photovoltaik in allen Bereichen voranzubringen. Die Fachvorträge in der Tagung gehen auf den aktuellen Stand der Normen und Richtlinien der Photovoltaik ein und reichen vom Arbeitsschutz und der sicheren Montage über bauliche Anforderungen, dem Brandschutz bis zur Elektrosicherheit und dem Blitzschutz. Außerdem können die Teilnehmer eine spannende Podiumsdiskussion zu Kleinst - Solaranlagen mit Steckermodulen und der „Guerilla-PV“ zu dem Thema: „Demokratisierung der Stromversorgung oder Gefährdung der öffentlichen Sicherheit“ verfolgen. Veranstaltungstipps: Thermische Energiespeicher und Solar Cooling
Das Ostbayerische Technologie-Transfer-Institut e.V. (OTTI) führt im Juli und im September zwei interessante Veranstaltungen durch, auf die wir gerne gesondert hinweisen möchten.
Am 4. und 5. Juli findet in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz das zweite "Anwenderforum Thermische Energiespeicher" statt. Das Forum befasst sich mit den Grundlagen thermischer Energiespeicher, es werden aktuelle Projekte sowie Produkte vorgestellt. Neben einem Überblick von Forschung und Entwicklung werden Anwendungen für Industrie und Gebäude vorgestellt. Zum Abschluss des Anwenderforums findet eine Technische Besichtigungstour statt.

September findet in Bad Krozingen die fünfte internationale Konferenz "Solar Air-Conditioning" statt: "Since the first International Conference on Solar Air Conditioning which took place in 2005 in Bad Staffelstein in Germany, solar cooling technology has faced a lot of changes and evolutions. At this early time, the technology was still in its infancy, mainly driven by R&D institutes and promising a huge potential as an alternative to conventional technology. Since then, conventional energy is still and even more and more expensive and at the same time, solar energy represents the only sustainable and signifi cant renewable way to do air conditioning for buildings."

Veranstaltungstipp: Renexpo vom 26. bis 29. September
Energiefachmesse fördert gezielt innovative Jungunternehmen: Innovationskräftige Unternehmen leisten einen wichtigen Beitrag dazu, dass die Energie-wende in Deutschland gelingt. Forschung und Innovation spielen deshalb auf der diesjährigen Renexpo, Fachmesse für Erneuerbare Energien und Energieeffizienz vom 26. bis zum 29. September in Augsburg, eine zentrale Rolle. Die Renexpo bietet insbesondere für Startups eine wichtige Plattform. Um junge Unternehmen, die mit innovativen Ideen begeistern, gezielt zu unterstützen, fördert der Messeveranstalter diese mit einer kostenlosen Standfläche auf der Messe.
Süddeutschland war im Jahr 2012 der Spitzenreiter der Patentanmeldungen im Bereich Erneuerbare Energien: Baden-Württemberg belegt mit 304 Patenten im Energiesektor Platz eins, gefolgt von Bayern mit 298 Patentanmeldungen. Auf der Renexpo in Augsburg wer-den weitere Entwicklungen und Neuheiten zu Themen , wie beispielsweise Ressourceneffizienz, Energieflexibilität, Stromspeicherung oder Kurzumtriebsplantagen präsentiert. Startups, die neue Produkte, Verfahren oder Dienstleistungen entwickeln, finden auf der Renexpo neben einer breiten Öffentlichkeit die richtige Zielgruppe: Fachbesucher. Nur wenn Förderer und Absatzmärkte gefunden werden, können junge Unternehmen ihre Ideen serienmäßig umsetzen. Die Fachmesse bietet den Startups dazu die Gelegenheit, sich und ihre Ideen vorzustellen, Geschäftskontakte zu knüpfen und sich auch innerhalb der Branche auszutauschen. Der Messeveranstalter REECO fördert innovative Ideen und junge Unter-nehmen mit kleinem Marketingbudget und bietet diesen einen Rabatt auf den Messestand – für die reine Standfläche von vier Quadratmetern müssen die Startups nichts zahlen. Neben einer innovativen Geschäftsidee für den Energiesektor gibt es feste Kriterien, um einen geförderten Messestandplatz zu erhalten: Die Unternehmen müssen jünger als fünf Jahre alt sein, einen Jahresumsatz unter fünf Millionen erwirtschaften und weniger als 30 Mitarbeiter beschäftigen.

Veranstaltungstipp: Energiespeicher für Photovoltaik-Strom
Die neue Speicherförderung der Bundesregierung bringt den Markt für Photovoltaik-Stromspeicher in Bewegung und eröffnet damit unter anderem Handwerkern und Installateuren neue Geschäftsmöglichkeiten. In dem jungen, sich schnell entwickelnden Feld mit einer Vielzahl schwer vergleichbarer Produkte ist es jedoch schwierig, den Überblick zu behalten. Orientierung für Handwerker und Installateure sowie Energieberater, Stadtwerke und Kommunen bieten die bundesweiten Tagesseminare „Energiespeicher für Photovoltaik-Strom – Workshopreihe für Anwender“, die im Juli 2013 starten. Das Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Reaktorsicherheit (BMU) fördert die herstellerunabhängige Veranstaltungsreihe, die von der Solarpraxis umgesetzt wird.
Der Eigenverbrauch von Solarstrom ist mittlerweile oft lohnenswerter als der Verkauf an den Netzbetreiber. Mit einem Photovoltaik-Stromspeicher können Haushalte bis zu 80 Prozent des Solarstroms selbst nutzen und damit im Jahr mehrere hundert Euro bei den Stromkosten sparen. Zusammen mit der neuen Speicherförderung und der größeren Unabhängigkeit von der Entwicklung der Strompreise werden so Photovoltaik-Stromspeicher für immer mehr Haushalte attraktiv. Handwerker und Installateure sowie Energieberater, Stadtwerke und Kommune haben dadurch die Chance, ihre Produktpalette zu erweitern und Neukunden zu gewinnen. Hilfestellung für die Beratung ihrer Kunden in diesem neuen Themenfeld geben die eintägigen Anwender-Workshops. Erfahrene Branchenexperten berichten aus der Praxis und informieren umfassend und vor allem herstellerneutral zu Energiespeichern für Photovoltaik-Strom. Die Teilnehmer erhalten u. a. eine Übersicht über die verschiedenen Systeme und Fördermittel. Die Referenten stellen zudem Wirtschaftlichkeitsberechnungen und Umsetzungsbeispiele vor und informieren zu Brandschutz- und Sicherheitsanforderungen sowie zur Installation und Integration von Speichern in bestehende Systeme. Darüber hinaus zeigen sie Fehlerquellen und Fallstricke bei der Umsetzung auf und geben konkrete Vertriebsempfehlungen.
Die Workshops finden von Juli 2013 bis Januar 2014 bundesweit u. a. in Frankfurt, Köln, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig und Erfurt statt. Die Termine der ersten Veranstaltungen sind:

SONNENENERGIE 3/2013: Solarmodulrecycling
Hochwertiges Modulrecycling weit über WEEE-Richtlinie hinaus: Aufgrund der Umsetzung der WEEE-Richtlinie in nationales Recht bis Februar 2014, entwickeln die EU-Länder notwendige Infrastrukturen für die Sammlung (85 %) und Wiederverwertung (80 %) von Solarmodulen (Solarmodulstoffströme). Die Vorgaben sind im Zeitraum von vier Jahren prozentual ansteigend zu erfüllen. Sammelstrukturen sind aufgrund der Aktivitäten der Industrieverbände PV Cycle und CERES in der EU bereits flächendeckend im Aufbau und werden ständig erweitert. Damit ist die WEEE-Richtlinie jedoch nicht erfüllt, denn Solarmodule müssen dem Recycling zugeführt werden.
Dass hochwertiges Recycling, welches auch die enthaltenen Sondermetalle umfasst, ökologisch sinnvoll ist, haben Studien längst bewiesen. Jedoch schreibt die WEEE-Richtlinie „nur“ eine 80%ige Behandlung der Module vor. Mit der Verwertung von Glas und Rahmen wird das bereits erfüllt. Hochwertiges Recycling wird lediglich in einer unverbindlichen Passage der Richtlinie als „sinnvoll“ bezeichnet. „Es ist zu begrüßen, dass es Unternehmer gibt, die sich dafür engagieren“ sagt der ehemalige Geschäftsführer der Sunicon, Dr. Karsten Wambach von Wambach-Consulting. Das entspreche auch dem Ziel der Ressourcenschonung der EU und der Deutschen Bundesregierung.
Wirtschaftlich sind Anlagen des hochwertigen Recyclings mit Risiken verbunden, weil diese, das betont Dr. Wambach, sehr früh im Wettbewerb mit anderen, bodenständigen Anbietern und Technologien stehen. Notwendige Planungsvoraussetzungen, wie gesetzliche Rahmenbedingungen wird es in Deutschland erst im Februar 2014 geben. Die vertragliche Grundlastsicherung deutscher Anlagen mit Produktionsabfällen von Herstellern, sollte ursprünglich deren Planungssicherheit gewährleisten. Davon ausgehend sollte die Anlagenkapazität sukzessive ausgebaut werden, erläutert Dr. Wambach. Wegen der Verlagerung der Modulproduktion nach Asien entfällt diese Grundlastsicherung deutscher Anlagen weitgehend. „Mit guten Voraussetzungen ist das jedoch trotzdem machbar“ sagt der Experte, die Anlagenbetreibung sei aus unternehmerischer Sicht eine Frage der Abschätzung der Rahmenbedingungen und der zu erwartenden Durchsatzmengen pro Anlage. Die Politik sei gefordert, konkrete Richtlinien und Anreize zu definieren, wenn Deutschland technologischer Kompetenzstandort für die Wiedergewinnung wertvoller Rohstoffe wie Silizium, Indium, Tellur und Silber werden soll. In diesem sehr dynamischen und noch mit vielen Fragezeichen gekennzeichneten Marktgefüge kann es passieren, so Dr. Wambach, „dass der nationale Gesetzgeber Anforderungen über die bekannte neue europäische WEEE-Richtlinie hinaus stellt“. Für Deutschland gelte das im Besonderen, da das überarbeitete deutsche Elektrogerätegesetz (ElektroG) noch nicht fertiggestellt ist.
