DGS Intersolar-Tagung: Wärmemarkt im Kontext mit EE Strom
Wärmemarkt im Kontext mit EE Strom - Verschwimmen die Grenzen? Der Ausbau der Photovoltaik und der Windkraft in Deutschland blieb im Jahr 2012 auf hohem Niveau. Zwar werden sich beide Marktsegmente im laufenden Jahr konsolidieren; dennoch werden beide Märkte weiter wachsen. Gegenwärtig sind ca. 34 Gigawatt PV-Leistung sowie 32 Gigawatt WKA-Leistung am Netz. Damit ist die Beantwortung von Fragen wie „Wohin mit PV-Strom an sonnigen Tagen und Windstrom bei stürmischem Wetter?“ dringender denn je.
Der Markt hat vor diesem Hintergrund schon reagiert. Stromspeichersysteme sind vermehrt verfügbar, Luft-Wasser-Wärmepumpen dominieren den Wärmepumpenmarkt, elektrische Heizsysteme für Wasserspeicher werden angeboten. Auch sind Projekte und Demonstratoren, die die „Power-to-Gas“ Technologie umsetzen, keine Einzelfälle mehr.
Im letzten Jahr hat die DGS Berlin auf der Intersolar Europe eine Konferenz zu diesem Thema durchgeführt; mit guter Resonanz. Hier wird in diesem Jahr wieder angeknüpft. Die neuesten Entwicklungen werden dargestellt und diskutiert. Namhafte Referenten wie z. B. Dr. Schulze-Darup aus Nürnberg, K.H. Stawiarski vom Bundesverband Wärmepumpe, Prof. T. Leukefeld aus Freiberg, Dr. H. Drück vom ITW Stuttgart und Dr. E. Wanke von der Thüga AG werden ihre Sichtweise präsentieren.

Abschied von Prof. Dr. Jürgen Schmid
(Fraunhofer IWES) Plötzlich und viel zu früh ist Prof. Dr. Jürgen Schmid im Alter von 68 Jahren am 6. Mai gestorben. Er zählte zu den Pionieren und führenden Experten auf dem Gebiet der Erneuerbaren Energien.
Erst im Oktober 2012 hatte er nach 14 Jahren die Leitung des Fraunhofer IWES in Kassel an die nächste Generation übergeben. Er hat das ehemalige ISET zu einem der weltweit führenden Forschungsinstitute für Energiesystemtechnik gemacht und die Mitarbeiterzahl von 130 auf 360 gesteigert.
Für seine besonderen Verdienste war er mit den höchsten Ehrungen des hessischen Wissenschaftsministeriums und der Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft ausgezeichnet worden. Auch im Wissenschaftlichen Beirat der Bundesregierung Globale Umweltveränderungen, dem bundesweiten Forschungsverbund Erneuerbare Energien und zahlreichen internationalen Gremien und Initiativen engagierte er sich für die Transformation der Energiesysteme. Sein ausgeprägter Optimismus verlieh ihm eine besondere Ausstrahlung, mit der er auch als Hochschullehrer außergewöhnlich motivieren konnte.
"Mit Prof. Dr. Jürgen Schmid haben wir und hat Deutschland eine wissenschaftlich, politisch und menschlich prägende Persönlichkeit sowie einen großen Architekten der Energiewende verloren. Wir werden das begonnene Werk in seinem Sinne fortführen und ihm stets ein ehrendes Andenken bewahren. Unser Mitgefühl gilt seiner Ehefrau und seinem Sohn.", so die jetzigen Institutsleiter des IWES Prof. Dr. Clemens Hoffmann (Kassel) und Prof. Dr. Andreas Reuter (Bremerhaven).
In einer Gedenkfeier in der Kreuzkirche in Kassel nahmen rund 230 Angehörige, Freunde, Bekannte, Kollegen, Politiker und Wegbgleiter Abschied vom ehemaligen Institutsleiter des ISET.
Mit Trauer und Bestürzung hat die DGS den überraschenden Tod von Prof. Dr. Jürgen Schmid aufgenommen. Schmid war jahrelanges Mitglied der DGS.

Eigenverbrauch: DGS-Starterpaket zu den PV mieten - Konzepten
Vertrag-Updates und neue DGS-Schulung für Vertriebs-Mitarbeiter: Wie lassen sich mit Eigenverbrauchsanlagen auf fremden Dächern wieder wirtschaftlich
erfolgreiche Solarprojekte realisieren? Die DGS Franken hat mit den 'PV mieten - Konzepten' (Solarstrom liefern, PV-Anlage mieten bzw. teilmieten) geeignete Hilfsmittel entwickelt.
Aktuell sind zu diesen Konzepten neue Verträge bzw. Updates erhältlich, die sich für weitere Betreiberkonstellationen, insbesondere für Gebäude mit Untermietverhältnissen, eignen. Auf der Intersolar-Neuheitenbörse am 21. Juli wird der Vorsitzende von DGS Franken, Michael Vogtmann die Chancen der Ansätze für innovative Solarunternehmen vorstellen.
In Ergänzung zu den neuen Konzepten hat die DGS Franken auch den passenden Kurs mit DGS-Zertifikat konzipiert, den 'DGS Photovoltaik Eigenstrommanager'. Mitarbeiter von Solarunternehmen können in der viertägigen Schulung ihr Profil im Vertrieb von photovoltaischen Eigenverbrauchsanlagen stärken. Der erste Kurs startet vom 02. bis 05.07.2013 in Nürnberg. DGS-Mitglieder erhalten 10% Rabatt.
Stefan Seufert, Leiter der DGS Solarschule Nürnberg, faßt das Ziel der Schulung zusammen: „Als Unternehmen können Sie vor allem punkten, wenn Ihre Vertriebsmitarbeiter im Kundengespräch die besonderen Vorteile der neuen DGS Ansätze vermitteln und zur Optimierung solaren Eigenstroms kompetent beraten können. Veranstaltungstipp: Zweimal Photovoltaik im Cluster Energietechnik
Am 9. Juli findet in den Räumen des ZAE Bayern in Erlangen im Rahmen des Cluster-Treff Photovoltaik die Veranstaltung "Zerstörungsfreie Testmethoden in der Photovoltaik“ statt.
Die Qualitätssicherung von Solarzellen und Photovoltaikmodulen ist nicht nur für Hersteller und Betreiber von Solaranlagen von großer Bedeutung, sondern auch für Energieversorger und Netzbetreiber, da zuverlässige und vorhersagbare Elektrizitätserzeugung Voraussetzung ist für eine sichere Energieversorgung. Umfangreiche Charakterisierung der elektrischen und optischen Eigenschaften hilft schon in einem frühen Stadium, fehlerhafte Solarzellen und Module zu identifizieren und vor der Inbetriebnahme auszusortieren. Aber auch installierte Module, die nicht mehr die zugesicherte Leistung erbringen, können mit bildgebenden Methoden identifiziert werden, so dass darauf frühzeitig reagiert werden kann.
Der Cluster-Treff beim ZAE Bayern in Erlangen wird einen Überblick über aktuelle Möglichkeiten der zerstörungsfreien Charakterisierung von Photovoltaikmodulen und Solarzellen liefern. Themenschwerpunkte bilden bildgebende Verfahren wie ortsaufgelöste Elektrolumineszenz (EL) und Infrarot-Thermographie sowie die Kennlinienmessung mit Hilfe von neu entwickelten Sonnensimulatoren. Es werden sowohl Methoden für den Labor- als auch den Freilandeinsatz behandelt.

Am 11. Juli findet im Bauzentrum München im Rahmen des Cluster-Treff Photovoltaik die Veranstaltung "Eigenverbrauch - Geschäftsmodell für die PV“ statt.
Angesichts steigender Verbraucherstrompreise drängt sich bei fallenden PV-Anlagenpreisen die Möglichkeit auf den Strom selbst zu erzeugen und somit Geld zu sparen. Effizient arbeitende PV-Anlagen lassen sich heute nahezu beliebig skalierbar auf jedem Dach installieren. Die unverzichtbaren Stromspeicher werden seit dem 1. Mai über die KfW gefördert. Der dabei produzierte Strom kann direkt genutzt oder vermarket werden und schafft Unabhängigkeit. Sinkende Systemkosten tragen zukünftig zudem zu einem lukrativen Kostenvorteil gegenüber dem Strombezug bei. Ziel dieses Cluster Treffs ist es, den Teilnehmern einen Marktüberblick, speziell bei den verfügbaren Speichersystemen und Anlagensteuerungen zu verschaffen und über die wesentlichen Rahmenbedingungen der Geschäftsmodelle aus der Praxis zu informieren.

SONNENENERGIE 3/2013: Dallas Reloaded
Auferstehung der USA zur grössten Energiemacht – Fracking sorgt für neue Goldrauschstimmung: In den 80er Jahren versetzte Bösewicht J.R Ewing die deutschen Liebhaber der Fernsehserie „Dallas“ in die Traumwelt der amerikanischen Ölbarone. Einmal pro Woche konnten wir vom Wohnzimmer aus neben den zahlreichen Intrigen und der Profitgier auch am Luxusleben der texanischen Ölindustrie teilhaben. Rund 30 Jahre später erleben wir eine erneute Goldgräberstimmung in Form von Fracking. In diesem Artikel werden im Besonderen die Risiken und die Auswirkungen auf die Energieversorgung dargestellt.
Die Grundpfeiler des weltweiten Energie-Systems kommen ins Wanken, prognostiziert die Energieagentur IEA. Schon in fünf Jahren sollen die USA der weltgrößte Öl- und Gasproduzent sein. Mit diesem Satz löste die IEA zahlreiche Diskussionen in Medien und Politik aus. Denn die internationale Energie-Landkarte wird sich in den nächsten 20 Jahren damit dramatisch verändern – und möglicherweise auch politische Auswirkungen nach sich ziehen. Die USA könnten dann vielleicht praktisch unabhängig sein.
Hintergründe
Nicht-konventionelle Erdgase wie zum Beispiel Schiefergas (shale gas) gelten als Ausweg hoher Energiepreise aufgrund begrenzter Ressourcen und könnten nach heutigem Kenntnisstand eine bedeutende Rolle bei der weltweiten Versorgung mit Erdgas spielen. In den USA wird aktuell bereits etwa 50 Prozent des Erdgasbedarfs über nicht-konventionelle Quellen gedeckt. Auch in Deutschland sind erhebliche Vorkommen verfügbar (geologische Hintergründe werden in der nächsten SONNENENERGIE ausführlich vorgestellt). Grundsätzlich sind die weltweiten Vorkommen zumindest energiepolitisch günstig verteilt, umweltrelevante Aspekte der Gewinnung und langfristige Auswirkungen auf Natur und Klima sind allerdings noch eingehend zu erforschen.

SONNENENERGIE 3/2013: Schieferöl oder Ölschiefer
Tight Oil, Light Tight Oil: Erdölgewinnung - koste es was es wolle: Die Menge ökonomisch förderbaren Erdöls ist nicht leicht zu bestimmen, die Prognosen schwanken nach wie vor zwischen „Erdölreserven größer als je zuvor“ und „In 10 bis 15 Jahren wird die Hälfte des auf der Erde förderbaren Öls verbraucht sein“. Aus ökologischen Gründen gibt es jedoch keine Alternative zur mittelfristigen Abkehr vom Öl, die Hoffnung auf die Erschließung neuer, unkonventioneller Quellen ist trügerisch.
Bei der unkonventionellen Förderung ist es zunächst sinnvoll zwischen den Begriffen „Tight Oil“ und „Light Tight Oil“ zu unterscheiden. Die hierzulande differenziert man häufig zwischen Schieferöl und Ölschiefer, was weniger zweckmäßig ist. Denn Schieferöle sind lediglich Öle, die aus sogenannten kerogenhaltigen Gesteinen, wie z.B. Ölschiefern, gewonnen werden können.
