Kurzinhalt: Der Dokumentarfilm DIE 4. REVOLUTION – ENERGY AUTONOMY von Carl-A. Fechner steht für eine mitreißende Vision: Eine Welt-Gemeinschaft, deren Energieversorgung zu 100 Prozent aus erneuerbaren Quellen gespeist ist – für jeden erreichbar, bezahlbar und sauber. Eine globale Umstrukturierung, die Machtverhältnisse neu ordnet und Kapital gerechter verteilt, könnte jetzt beginnen. Wir müssen es nur tun!
Wie – das zeigt Fechners Film anhand beispielhafter Projekte und ihrer Vorkämpfer in zehn Ländern: Das energieeffizienteste Bürogebäude der Welt steht in Deutschland und produziert mehr Energie, als es verbraucht. Der Kino-Dokumentarfilm zeichnet mit Aufnahmen in 10 Ländern das Bild einer existierenden globalen Bewegung von engagierten Menschen, die gemeinsam für ein Ziel kämpfen: 100 Prozent Erneuerbare Energien heute und jetzt!
- Zur Filmpremiere finden an vielen Orten Veranstaltungen statt. Zum Beispiel veranstaltet Ikratos und Bluepingu in Nürnberg anlässlich der Filmpremiere (18. März, 20:00 Uhr, Cinecitta) anschließend eine Podiumsdiskussion. Die DGS ist mit Michael Vogtmann (1. Vorsitzender der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Sonnenenergie, Landesverband Franken e.V.) dort vertreten. In dem Zusammenhang wird auch eine Photovoltaikanlage verlost (unter der Bedingung, daß dessen erster Bürgermeister selbst den Film ansieht und sich im Rahmen einer Verlosung um die Photovoltaikanlage bewirbt).

Stellenausschreibung: Juniorprofessur "Energy-Based Architectural Design"
An der Fakultät Architektur der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar ist zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt die Juniorprofessur (W1) "Energy-Based Architectural Design" zu besetzen. Das Lehr- und Forschungsprofil der Professur adressiert die gestalterisch und funktional anspruchsvolle Integration von Energietechnologien in den Architekturentwurf unter Bezugnahme auf regionale klimatische und bauhistorische Besonderheiten. Dabei wird Konzepten für die Wandelbarkeit von Bauwerken zur Anpassung an stetig bzw. zyklisch veränderliche energetische Anforderungen ein hoher Stellenwert zugeordnet.
Zu den zentralen Aufgaben der Professur gehören die Entwicklung wissenschaftlich fundierter Entwurfsstrategien und -werkzeuge und die Weiterentwicklung eines interdisziplinären Forschungsschwerpunktes unter dem Paradigma Energie. Dazu zählt weiterhin die wissenschaftliche Koordination der Kongressreihe Bauhaus.SOLAR und forschungsorientierter Workshops. Die enge Zusammenarbeit mit der ebenfalls ausgeschriebenen Juniorprofessur "Urban Energy Systems" wird dafür als notwendige Basis angesehen.
