Nachhaltige Belieferung in Städten (2)
Gerade die Innenstadt-Logistik hat mit Image-Problemen zu kämpfen. Manuela Bauer vom Fraunhofer-Institut IAO in Stuttgart, eine der Autorinnen der 2018 erschienenen Studie „Europaweites Screening City Logistik“ kennt jede Menge Gründe dafür. Die wohl wichtigsten: „Logistik ist laut und stinkt.“ Doch gerade diese Punkte ließen sich recht einfach lösen – wenn die Verantwortlichen in Kommune und Logistik-Wirtschaft es nur wollten. Mit elektrisch angetriebenen Fahrzeugen beispielsweise. Denn die gibt es in jeder Größenordnung zu kaufen.

„Durch schwere Elektronutzfahrzeuge im regionalen Verteilerverkehr ist eine Gesamtreduzierung der Klimaauswirkungen im Verkehrssektor möglich. Die E-Laster wirken sich aufgrund des niedrigen Geräuschpegels und der nicht vorhandenen Emissionen während des Betriebs erheblich und positiv auf Arbeitsumgebung und Luftqualität aus. Durch die Geräuscharmut können diese Lkw außerdem an mehr Stunden pro Tag für Transporte genutzt werden. Dadurch eröffnen sich neue Möglichkeiten der Betriebsoptimierung, beispielsweise für Transporte in und um Städte herum“, heißt es von Volvo. Und wie das schwedisch-chinesische Unternehmen vor wenigen Tagen bekanntgab, bietet es dafür jetzt sogar Fahrzeuge zum Kauf an.
Doch während solch schwere Lkw noch nicht „normal“ sind, nimmt der Anteil von Fahrzeugen mit „alternativen Antrieben“ für Privatnutzer inzwischen in breitem Maße zu. Das bestätigt die Deutsche Energieagentur Dena in ihrem aktuellen „Monitoringbericht“. Und gerade für die Logistik auf der „letzten Meile“ gibt es bereits eine ganze Menge serienmäßiger Mobile, Lastenräder beispielsweise. Die genießen ein gutes Image. Kommen dann noch verkauftes Produkt und nachhaltige Mobilität zusammenkommen, schreibt auch schon mal eine Lokalzeitung eine Lob-Preisung. Eine andere gute Chance, um in die Medien zu kommen ist die Optik. Stylisch schaut es schon aus, das Cargobike von VW. Doch auch wenn es schon lange vorgestellt wurde: „Das Cargo e-Bike ist in einem Konzeptstand und wird noch nicht zum Verkauf angeboten“, heißt es vom „Weltauto“-Konzern. Keine aktuelle Alternative also. Leider.
Zwei oder drei Räder?
Anders das „Chike“. Bei dem steht bei jeder Version auch gleich noch der Preis dabei. „Es gibt viele Transporträder… …aber es gibt nur ein Chike“ lobt sich der Kölner Hersteller des Dreirads selbst. Und verspricht wegen des geschweißten Alu-Rahmens „ein Leben lang Spaß am Chike“. Ist damit Menschen- oder Chike-Leben gemeint? Nur zwei Räder hat das „Cargo 1.0“ von Prophete. Das wurde von der „Radfahren“-Redaktion mit „Gut“ bewertet: „Mit wenig Übung unkompliziert fahrbares, schlankes Lastenrad mit satten Fahreigenschaften, kräftigem Motor und sicheren Bremsen.“ Dagegen schaut das Dreirad des gleichen Herstellers etwas labberiger aus der Wäsche. Liegt das am Vorderrad-Nabenmotor?
System aus Rad, Container und Software
Doch während die gerade genannten eher für den Privat- als für den Firmeneinsatz gedacht erscheinen, zeigt das Rytle-System schon auf den ersten Blick, wo es gefahren werden soll: auf der letzten Meile. Der Fahrzeugaufbau-Hersteller Krone wirbt dafür ebenso wie der E-Motoren-Produzent Heinzmann. Ein Teil ist das Rad, MoveR25 genannt. Darin ist eine Wechselfunktion für standardisierte Transportboxen integriert. Per „Software-Plattform sind alle Beteiligten in Echtzeit miteinander vernetzt“, heißt es zudem. Ein Fahrzeug, ohne Führerschein zu fahren, das aber trotzdem „dem Fahrer optimalen Schutz und Komfort bietet und sich gut und einfach bedienen lässt“, heißt es vom Joint Venture Rytle aus Bremen.
Doch kommt das System offenbar in der Fremde besser an als hierzulande: In Nordamerika sei man „bereits aktiv. Und im indisch-asiatischen Raum eruieren wir gerade die Möglichkeit der lokalen Produktion, um die Nachfrage nach Systemlösungen auch in Asien zu bedienen“, bestätigt Geschäftsführer Ingo Lübs.
Zwischen Lieferwagen und Rad
Aus Schweden kommt das elektrisch betriebene Transport-Dreirad von Veheco. Das habe sich „als Postfahrzeug in Skandinavien bereits bestens bewährt durch großes Ladevolumen kombiniert mit robuster Bauweise“. Es sei „eine echte Alternative zum Lastenrad und zum Elektro-Lieferwagen“, heißt es vom deutschen Anbieter. Ihr „Norsjö Carrier ist viel wendiger und viel kostengünstiger und schließt die Lücke zwischen Cargo Bike und E-Lieferwagen“. Der Nachteil: Das Veheco muss die Straße nutzen, benötigt ein Nummernschild, und ein Führerschein ist ebenfalls vonnöten.
Mit der Kraft der Ameise?
Auch deshalb möchten wir am Ende noch auf eine aktuelle Entwicklung hinweisen, die uns sehr durchdacht erscheint: Ant-Cargo 3. Auch wenn sich die Produzenten noch nicht sicher sind, ob sie „das“ oder „die“ ANT zu ihrem „Heavy Duty Cargo Bike“ sagen sollen. Was auf den ersten Blick wie ein stinknormales Lasten-Dreirad aussieht, stellt sich bei genauerem Hinsehen völlig anders dar: Bremsen aus dem Motorradbereich sind eingebaut, „damit die nicht ständig gewartet werden müssen“, wie Christof Bantle erklärt, der Geschäftsführer der Entwicklungsfirma B&P Engineering Mobility aus Oberfranken.
Die tiefliegende Ladefläche vor dem Fahrer, passend für eine Standardbox, ist besonders logistik-geeignet. Insgesamt ist der Schwerpunkt sehr niedrig – ein Umkippen fast nicht möglich. Der Rahmen ist aus Alu zusammengeschweißt, „das Lenksystem gemeinsam mit Renningenieuren entwickelt“, so Bantle.
Und die ein Meter breite Ant – der Name ist der Ameise entliehen, die bekanntlich das Mehrfache ihres Körpergewichts tragen kann – ist dennoch ein Fahrzeug ohne Nummernschild und mit der Lizenz, Radwege zu benutzen. Die Felderprobung, gemeinsam mit der Ohm-Hochschule Nürnberg, ist inzwischen angelaufen. Serienmäßig soll die Elektro-Ameise schon im Sommer 2020 zu haben sein. Und an einem Ant-4 mit der Ladefläche hinten werde auch schon gearbeitet, heißt es.
Außerdem gibt es jede Menge weiterer interessanter Elektrorad-Logistik-Produkte und Konzepte, die hier leider aus Platzgründen nicht mehr reinpassen. Lieber Leser, liebe Leserin, duckduckgoen oder gugeln Sie doch einfach mal.
Doch was nicht vergessen werden soll: Die Idee der Innenstadt-Logistik per E-Rad ist nicht ganz neu. Vor fast 20 Jahren veröffentlichte der Autor dieses Beitrags bereits eine euphorische Pressemeldung. In Serie ging dieser Schubanhänger mit Ladefläche aber anscheinend nie.
