Die Kinder-IAA
Der aktuelle und die letzten Bundesverkehrsminister haben offenbar alle „Freie Fahrt für freie Bürger“ zu ihrer Politikmaxime gemacht. Und Männer, junge wie alte, bejubeln dies lautstark. Warum das so ist? Wer die Nürnberger Spielwarenmesse besucht hat, wird sich darüber nicht mehr wundern.
Auf der Toy Fair, einmal im Jahr Ende Januar, haben offenbar selbst die Referentinnen (weiblich!) bis heute nicht viel von Gender Mainstreaming gehört: Im Kongress namens „Toy Business Forum“ unterscheiden sie weiterhin fein nach „Boy´s and girl´s toys“. Und so öffnet der Startschuss zum fränkischen Messegelände nahe des legendären Norisrings auch den Zugang zu einer Art „Internationale Kinder-Automobilausstellung“.
Da steht schon mal ein echter Porsche-PS-Protz der Deutschen Tourenwagen-Meisterschaft DTM als Männer-Blickfang am Stand des Rennbahnherstellers Carrera. Oder bei der Vorführung von Fernlenk-Kleinst-Rallye-Autos röhrt von unter dem Spielbrett lautstark Motorengebrüll hervor. Von all den Modellen der schwerölfressenden Panzer wollen wir hier gar nicht sprechen. Aber überall vor den Vitrinen und in den Ständen schauen sich vor allem Männer die Augen aus.
Wir dagegen wollen uns besonders jenen vieldutzend Ausstellern widmen, denen umweltfreundliche Kinder-Bewegung wichtig ist. Alleine 57 Standnummern listet die Rubrik Kinderfahrzeuge auf. Dazu kommen Boards, Skateboards, Kickboards, Inlineskates, Roller, Dreiräder undundund. Jahr für Jahr hat man das Gefühl: Es werden immer mehr, während die Modellbahnen, die einstige Vorzeigebranche der Spielwarenmesse, immer weniger Platz beanspruchen.
Bemerkenswert auch: Von vielen Tretrollern oder Kickboards gibt es elektrisch angetriebene Versionen. Vor genau zehn Jahren war die Kleinkind-Vespa mit 12-Volt-Antrieb von Peg-Perego noch eine Exotin, übrigens mit einem Mädchen im Sattel des Werbefotos. Heute gehört der Roller-Typ mit Stromanschluss bei den Anbietern fast schon zum guten Ton.
Beispiel Citybug von Giant Union. Der „normale“ Stadtkäfer wurde zwar schon 2015 mit dem IF Design Award ausgezeichnet. Doch nun haben die Taiwanesen zwei weitere Hingucker draufgesetzt: Den „Compact“ und den „Rhino“. Gerade der schaut aus wie ein Motocross-Moped – auch wenn der Sitz nicht zum Hinhocken gedacht ist. Sogar eine Elektrobremse hat das Teil. Dennoch hätte es die Vorführerin beim Hallentest beinah umgehauen, so wild trieb sie`s. Ab 16 Jahren dürfen sich Menschen draufstellen. Nach oben ist das Alter fast unbegrenzt. So lange der oder die Nutzende nicht mehr als 100 kg auf die Waage bringt…
Micro aus der Schweiz gehen noch weiter. Und zwar nach unten und nach oben in der Altersstruktur für Rollernutzer. Schon Kleinstkinder ab einem Jahr sollen sich auf zwei oder drei Rädern fortbewegen. Während Teens sich noch selber anstrengen sollen, will Micro selbst Erwachsene auf E-Scooter „mit Kickunterstützung“ stellen. Mit dem Micro Sparrow XL hat das Unternehmen aber auch „den ersten Hybrid-Elektroroller für Kinder. Die Servo-Unterstützung wird durch einen Fußtritt aktiviert“, heißt es etwas kryptisch.
Und – man glaubt es kaum – die Schweizer haben auf der Spielwarenmesse auch ihren Microlino ausgestellt: ein quietschbuntes, zweisitziges Auto. Schaut aus wie eine BMW Isetta, aber mit 11-kW-Elektromotor und 8 kWh-Batterie für über 100 km Reichweite bei bis zu 90 km/h. BMW habe für das Design das Plazet gegeben, so die Standauskunft. Für 12.000 Euro ab Sommer per Direktvertrieb auch in Deutschland zu haben. Wartung bei Bosch-Diensten. „Bekomm die meisten Lächler je Kilometer“, lautet der wohl treffende Werbespruch für den Stadtflitzer. Aber was ist am Microlino Spielzeug?
Diese Bezeichnung trifft punktgenau auf jene Neuheit zu, die Infento auf der Toy Fair präsentierte. Mit „Tesla + Lego + Fischertechnik = ???“ lockten die Holländer viele Journalisten an ihren Fahrzeug-Stand. Und was bekamen die zu sehen? „Du kennst doch Lego und Fischertechnik? Mit Infento nimmt das Werkeln noch größere Dimensionen an. Und Tesla steht für Elektroantrieb.“ Sprich: für genau 1.099 Euro gibt’s bei Infento im Inlineshop „Deine Fahrt in die Zukunft“. Der Spruch steht für den Baukasten „Legend Kit“ inclusive e-Pulse-Antrieb. Wer Infento nicht kennt: Das System erinnert an Fischertechnik, nur eben Faktor 10 größer. Legend lässt insgesamt 39 Fahrzeugvarianten zu – eines davon ein Go-Kart. Den Elektro-Antrieb alleine gibt’s für 269 Euro, und damit lassen sich viele Infento-Fahrzeug-Bausätze elektrisieren, auch nachträglich.
Bausätze: Das sind auch die „bworld theme sets“ von Bruder aus Fürth. Der Baukasten „Autowerkstatt mit Sportflitzer und Automechaniker“ bekam sogar den diesjährigen „Toy Award Pre School“ für Drei- bis Sechsjährige. Die Jury war „begeistert, denn hier werden den Kids handwerkliche Fähigkeiten des Berufs nähergebracht“. Auf der Hebebühne ein Bolide, der eher an 500 PS-Dieselturbo erinnert als an ein E-Fahrzeug der Zukunft. Den aktuellen Verkehrsminister dürfte es freuen: Auch der diesjährige Spielzeugpreis macht wieder Werbung für die alte Verbrennerwelt und „Freie Fahrt für freie Bürger“.
