In the frame of the REEPRO project trainings on renewable energies in Lao and Khmer are offered frequently from April  2008 to December 2009. In November 2009 two DGS SolarSchools will be opened, one in Laos at the National University of Laos and one in Cambodia at the COMPED training centre. Those DGS SolarSchools will to continue the REEPRO training programme.

The SolarSchools will offer courses on the following 4 different subjects:

• Technical and economic aspects on renewable energies
• Photovoltaic
• Biomass gasification
• Biogas

Courses for the 3 REEPRO levels, engineers and experts (level 1), technicians (level2) and community stakeholders (level 3) will be offered.

Details on the date and location of these trainings will be announced ongoing below. The schedule for 2010 will be announced soon on this website.
